Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Waitlist information you submit: email address and platform interest (for example macOS, Windows, or Linux).
• Technical data our hosting provider processes to deliver the site, such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps in server logs.
• Aggregated website analytics when enabled (see Analytics below). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site as currently built.

How we use information

• Send waitlist and product-update emails you reasonably expect when you sign up.
• Operate, secure, and improve the website.
• Measure aggregated traffic and conversion (for example waitlist sign-ups) when analytics is enabled.
• Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)

Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (waitlist and optional marketing email); our legitimate interests in running and securing the website and understanding aggregate usage; and compliance with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only for the purposes described in this policy:

• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Vercel Web Analytics — privacy-friendly, aggregated traffic metrics (page views, referrers, and similar). It is cookieless, does not collect personally identifiable information, and does not track visitors across other sites. See vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-and-compliance.
• Waitlist processor — if configured, your email and platform choice are forwarded to the webhook or email/list tool we use to store sign-ups and send updates.
• We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or asset sale, with notice where the law allows.

Analytics and cookies

Analytics is privacy-friendly and aggregate. Vercel Web Analytics helps us understand page views, referrers, and similar statistics, and may record anonymous events (for example a download or waitlist-button click) without identifying you by name.

This site does not set non-essential marketing or advertising cookies in its default configuration. Essential cookies or local storage may still be used by your browser or our host for security and basic functionality.

How long we keep information

• Waitlist data: until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or we no longer need it for release communications—typically no longer than twenty-four (24) months after your last meaningful interaction with us.
• Server logs: for a limited period as determined by our hosting provider.
• Analytics: aggregated data retained according to our analytics provider’s settings.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

• Waitlist: unsubscribe from any email we send, or email us at privacy@chibigen.ai to update or delete your waitlist entry.
• California residents: we do not sell personal information. You may request disclosure, deletion, or correction as provided under applicable California law.
• EEA/UK residents: you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
• We will verify requests where appropriate and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Children

The website is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International users

We are based in the United States. If you access the site from another country, your information may be processed in the U.S. and in countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or a site notice where appropriate.
